Description: A spiny, succulent plant that may reach 2–10m in height.  Stem fleshy and green. Leaves are absent or when present they are small scaly. It has a single, rounded, slightly angled stem and grey bark. Branchlets are with wing-like 3-5 edges. 

 

 

Distribution: Cultivated in several places across the world.

Uses: A popular choice for both indoor and outdoor settings due to its unique architectural form and its ability to grow tall, even indoors.
