Objectives

Biodiversity Conservation: To implement initiatives to enhance and preserve biodiversity within the campus, including the creation of green spaces, planting native flora, and supporting local fauna.
Waste Reduction and Recycling: To develop result-specific strategies to minimise waste generation, promote recycling, and encourage responsible waste disposal practices among students and staff.
Energy Efficiency: To implement energy-saving measures, such as the use of renewable energy sources, energy-efficient appliances, and awareness campaigns to reduce overall energy consumption.
Academic Integration: To integrate environment studies into the academic curriculum, ensuring that students gain practical knowledge and skills related to sustainability within their respective fields of study.
Community Outreach: To engage with local communities to extend the impact of green initiatives beyond the campus, fostering a sense of environmental responsibility in the broader society.

  • Shalobhodyan: The garden is a specially designed to attract and support butterflies throughout their lifecycle. This aesthetically pleasing garden serves as an essential habitat with ample resources for butterflies and other pollinators.
  • Nakshatravanam: A special avenue is set with specific trees co-relating with 27 birth stars referred in the Indian astrology.
