Description:

Cynometra ramiflora, also called Nam-nam, is a tropical tree with small, yellow flowers and oval-shaped fruits that are sweet and tangy when ripe.

Habitat: Coasts and tidal forests.

Distribution: India, Sri Lanka and southern China to New Guinea.

Uses: Cynometra ramiflora,  is used for its edible fruits, which are sweet and tangy, and also as a source of timber for construction and furniture making.
