Description:

Memecylon randerianum is a small evergreen tree with shiny, dark green leaves and clusters of small purple flowers.

Habitat:Evergreen and semi-evergreen forests, and also in sacred groves.

Distribution: Endemic to the Western Ghats- South and Central Sahyadris.

Uses: Memecylon randerianum is used for its medicinal properties in traditional herbal remedies.
