Dr. Ajitha Kumari has over two decades of experience nurturing young minds across educational
institutions in India and overseas. She secured first rank for her M.Phil from Alagappa University and has
won numerous accolades in interschool and intercollegiate competitions. Dr. Ajitha brings extensive
sporting experience to her coaching, leading teams to triumph and fostering sports excellence and life
skills.
Dr. Ajitha has qualified for the Tamil Nadu State Level Eligibility Test (SLET) for Lectureship. She is
dedicated to advancing knowledge in Physical Education through innovative teaching, personalized
guidance, and significant research. She has actively participated in and presented papers at numerous
seminars and conferences, and has published her work in reputable journals.
Her passion for athletics extends globally, having officiated prestigious international events like the
Commonwealth Games and Asian All-Star Athletics Championship. She demonstrates a strong
commitment to inclusivity through her volunteer work at the Special Olympics World Games in Abu
Dhabi, ardently supporting athletes with intellectual disabilities. Her area of specialization includes
athletics, volleyball, badminton and sports psychology. Her holistic approach to education through
sports promotes a wholesome and active lifestyle among her students.
