  1. Community work such as values of National Integration, secularism, democracy, socialism, humanism, peace, scientific temper, flood or drought relief, small family norms etc.
  • As a part of the outreach programme on world heart day, 29th September 2023, department conducted an awareness campaign among the neighbourhood to spread knowledge about heart issues and how it could be prevented
  • Participated in Campus Social Responsibility, organized by Department of CS ”KARUTHAL”, at Thalumkandam, Tribal settlement on 3rd Feb and 17th Feb 2024, we renovated their community hall, Library and donated books to library.
  • Helped in NSS Camp in December 2023

National Literacy Mission

    • The Hack master Challenge: Coding for Change, for BCA students in connection with Computer Literacy week, on 5th Dec 2023 by Dr. Anju T. R, Associate Professor, Newman College, Thodupuzha

Extension work and National Service Scheme (NSS).

  • Organized an eye care camp at government higher secondary school kadayirippu on 23rd December 2023 in association with NSS and Dr Agarwals eye hospital.
  • Distributed Study materials, notebooks and library books to Govt. UP School, Edamalayar on 17.02.2024
