Ashy Drongo Dicrurus leucophaeus

The Ashy Drongo is a medium-sized bird found across South and Southeast Asia. It is characterized by its ashy-grey plumage and distinctive deeply forked tail. It inhabits a variety of environments including forests, gardens, and urban areas. This bird is highly territorial and often shows aggression especially while chasing away intruders to its territory. It feeds on insects, small birds, and fruits, often catching prey in flight. It builds cup-shaped nests in trees, using twigs and leaves. Its adaptability and bold behavior make it a common sight in its range.
