Bronzed Drongo Dicrurus aeneus

Bronzed Drongo Dicrurus aeneus

The Bronzed Drongo is a small, sleek bird found in South and Southeast Asia, easily recognized by its glossy, black plumage with a merged metallic blue tinge on the wings. It inhabits forests, gardens, and plantations, often seen perched conspicuously while hunting for insects. This bird is aggressive, often chasing away larger birds from its territory. It is also a skilled mimic, able to imitate the calls of other birds and animals. It builds cup-shaped nests high in trees, using twigs and grass. Its striking appearance and bold behavior make it a notable presence in its habitat.
