Paradise Flycatcher Terpsiphone paradisi

The Paradise Flycatcher is a striking bird known for its long tail feathers and beautiful plumage, which can be white or rufous with a glossy black head. Found across Asia and parts of Africa, this bird inhabits forests and wooded areas. It feeds on insects, catching them in flight with remarkable agility. The male’s long tail feathers, which can exceed twice the length of its body, are particularly notable during breeding season. These birds build cup-shaped nests in tree branches. The Paradise Flycatcher’s graceful flight and striking appearance make it a favorite among bird enthusiasts.
