Description:

Hiptage benghalensis is a climbing vine with bright orange flowers and heart-shaped leaves.

Habitat:  Deciduous forests, along river banks in semi-evergreen and Evergreen forests, also in sacred groves.

Distribution: South China, Taiwan, India, Indochina, Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Sri Lanka and Thailand.

Uses: Hiptage benghalensis is used in traditional medicine for its potential healing properties.
