Description

Climbing shrubs. Leaves elliptic-ovate or elliptic-oblong. Cymes axillary; flowers brownish-yellow that are fragrant. Berry, globose, red; seeds 1-3.

Habitat:   Woody climbing shrubs

Distribution: Western Ghats

Uses: Used in raditional medicine. Anti-diabetic. Roots are used for the treatment of leprosy, skin diseases, wounds, ulcers and liver disorders.
