Description:
Scaevola taccada is a shrub with long, slender branches and small, white flowers, commonly found along tropical coastlines.

Distribution: Tropical and subtropical coasts from the Indian ocean eastward to Hawaii.
Uses: Scaevola taccada is used for coastal erosion control and its leaves are sometimes used for medicinal purposes in traditional medicine.
