Description:

Simarouba glauca is a tropical tree with smooth gray bark, green leaves, and small yellow flowers, commonly found in Central and South America.

Habitat: Warm, humid, tropical regions.

Distribution: Tropical America, extending to the west Africa, Madagascar, Asia.

Uses: Traditional medicine, its seeds are also used to extract oil for cooking and medicinal purposes.
