Description: It is a flowering shrub known for its bright yellow flowers. The showy flowers bloom from spring until frost. The flowers are born on axillary inflorescence. This shrub is typically 2-8m height. The leaves are odd pinnately compound with 5-13 leaflets. The leaflets are medium to olive green, 3.5 to 12cm long with serrated margins. They are very showy and mildly fragrant. The fruits are long light green to greyish-brown capsules. This species is multi-trunked with dense branches. The bark is light grey to brown.

Habitat:  Disturbed sites in tropical and subtropical environments ,waste areas, roadsides.

Distribution: Global Distribution, topical & sub-tropical areas.

Uses: Ornamental and occasionally used in traditional medicine.
