Description:

Vitex negundo is a shrub with aromatic leaves and clusters of purple flowers, commonly found in tropical and subtropical regions.

Habitat: Grown as hedge plant, also growing wild.

Distribution:  Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Cambodia, China, India, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Nepal, Pakistan, Philippines, Sri Lanka.

Uses: Vitex negundo is used in traditional medicine to alleviate pain, reduce inflammation, and treat respiratory conditions.
