Student Development Committee

Introduction

The Student Development Committee is dedicated to the holistic development of students, focusing on essential life skills and personal well-being. The Committee organizes sessions that cover a broad spectrum of areas, including soft skills training, health and hygiene management, self-help, and stress management. Additionally, the Committee prioritizes the enhancement of various aspects of student intelligence and resilience, such as Intelligence Quotient (IQ), Emotional Quotient (EQ), Social Quotient (SQ), and Adversity Quotient (AQ). Through these efforts, the Committee aims to equip students with the tools they need to navigate the challenges of academic life and beyond.

Vision and Mission

Vision
To foster the comprehensive development of students by equipping them with essential life skills and resilience, enabling them to excel in both their academic and personal lives.

Mission
To empower students through targeted initiatives that enhance their cognitive abilities, emotional intelligence, social skills, and resilience, ensuring they are well-prepared to face life’s challenges.


Purpose
  • Soft Skills Training: To conduct regular sessions focused on developing students’ communication, teamwork, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Health and Hygiene Management: To promote awareness and practices related to personal health and hygiene, contributing to the overall well-being of students.
  • Self-Help and Stress Management: To provide resources and strategies that help students manage stress effectively and develop self-help skills for personal growth.
  • Development of Quotients:
    • Intelligence Quotient (IQ): To enhance cognitive abilities through activities that promote critical thinking and problem-solving.
    • Emotional Quotient (EQ): To improve emotional intelligence by fostering self-awareness, empathy, and emotional regulation.
    • Social Quotient (SQ): To build social skills and encourage positive interactions within the community.
    • Adversity Quotient (AQ): To strengthen students’ resilience and ability to cope with adversity and challenges.
  • Holistic Development: To ensure the all-around development of students, preparing them for the demands of both academic and professional environments.
